I wanted to thank again all the people who recommended Steve/Tony fics or reclists to me in my last post (LJ; DW). I think my favorite type of fic so far have been ones that deal with the "Civil War" period in the comics-canon. I like the fics so much that I'm tempted to see if I can find scans of the comics. Does Tony really talk to Steve's dead body? It's been in several fics, so I suspect it's canon (but it might just be very well-embedded fanon). But the canon story might be one of those things that's good because it's great set-up for fic, rather than being great in and of itself.
