Steve/Tony fic recs?

So... I haven't seen Captain America yet. Or the Iron Man movies (though I just picked them up from the library and will watch them before I need to return them; and I have seen a couple of IM vids). And I've never read or watched any comics/animation stuff for either of them. But... I seem to be reading Steve Rogers/Tony Stark fic? Not sure how that happened. I'm really kinda enjoying it though. Anyone got recs? I'm okay with being spoiled for plot developments.

Yeeeess. I don't know how it happened to me either, but one day I was happily enjoying the Marvel movies on a purely shallow, non-fannish level, and then suddenly I needed to READ ALL THE FICS. Suggest you read everything by valtyr and then start checking out this massive rec list of Steve/Tony fic.

Yeah, I still don't remember how exactly this happened to me. I must have clicked on a stray link or something and got sucked into an alternate dimension, because I'm a DC girl through and through.

Yeah, I've never learned much about Captain America or Iron Man before now, I guess because I thought Superman and Batman were each filling my needs in those particular superheroing areas.

Also, I totally hear you on the SOMEHOW stumbling into Steve/Tony thing. Because while I have seen the movies (in crappy quality on my laptop) I have never read any of the comics either and have therefore never seen Steve and Tony interact in any way. But somehow I have been conviced of shipping them to pretty much OTP levels. This seems to be a thing...

Yeah, it's almost ridiculous. But I'm getting the general shape of their relationship, I think. I will totally be ready for the Avengers movie when it comes out.

i was in exactly your position a couple of weeks ago. i have now seen the iron man films - (1 is good, 2 is ok, but not as good as 1. but still fun, you know?)
