Torchwood: 4x01 - more thoughts!

1. OMG, MY TORCHWOOD PEOPLE ARE BACK AND I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!
2. I love how the past is never forgotten. Torchwood employees die young, Jack using Owen's name (I may have gasped when he said that and then had to pause so that I could melt into a puddle). Aw, Jack coming back because he wanted to protect Gwen and keep her out of things (like she wanted - or thought she wanted; hey, Gwen, love, I saw your face when you saw Jack).
3. Jack getting and staying hurt! That made me gasp, too.
4. I did really like Esther and Rex and the way they worked together. Pretty bad-ass.
5. Awww, Gwen and Rhys with the baby was adorable (I think her name is Anwen?). But Rhys was making VERY BAD ARGUMENTS. He's so completely not-Torchwood.
6. Bill Pullman is freaking creepy as Oswald (as he's meant to be).
7. The whole plot is being done in an effectively creepy fashion. And I liked the way they drew Gwen and Jack back into it, even as IT WAS KILLING ME to wait for their reunion.
8. PC Andy! Always good to see him.
