yes, me too! I mean I understand why people didn't like CoE and probably aren't gonna watch the new eps but man, I am totally game for the miniseries format and darker tone. and Mekhi Phifer.
I do feel like... I totally get not watching a series because your favorite characters are gone or you don't like what feels like a new vibe (witness my not watching Moffat's Who, for example). But, for Torchwood, I really feel like RTD actually accomplished in CoE what the show had been trying to do all along and which it had really only achieved in bits and pieces before.

And yeah, I agree with you 100% (about not watching a series, about Torchwood's direcetion). It just... it came together. I mean, the first two series were invariably different in tone but if it weren't for the character dynamics being established there, CoE would not have been as powerful, IMO.
