SYTYCD: Top 4/Finale Night

butterflySo, I don't get why people say that Evan isn't a good enough dancer.
Of the two solos last night, I only remember his and Jeanine's for their dancing (I remember Brandon's solely for his shirtlessness -- the dancing was not all that memorable to me). In the Wade group number, again it was Evan and Jeanine that stood out as the best. I think he has incredibly strong technique.
I thought he and Brandon were equally good (though stylistically different) in their duet (and Brandon seemed to agree -- the look on his face when the judges were tearing down Evan was really sweet. He was not agreeing with them); thought he was definitely the stronger partner in his duet with Kayla; and just enjoyed the hell out of his duet with Jeanine. Everything Evan did last night worked for me.
Jeanine was really good, except that I thought the girls' dance was complete crap (though that part is the choreographer's fault) and they both screwed up a few times, especially with the skirt-ripping parts.
Brandon screwed up in his dance with Kayla (only once, but it was very noticeable to me), plus both he and Kayla had boring solos.
So, seriously, for me, Evan is the person who did the best job last night. Jeanine would be right up there, if not for the really horrible female duet.
Also, he uses an older style that people don't use as much anymore (like Adam), is pocket-sized (like Kris), puts on a show (like Adam), the judges seem to want him out of there (like Kris), and he seems to be one of the sweetest guys in the world (like the both of them). Anyway, I ♥ him and voted for him like mad.
