That was beautiful and heartbreaking. I really loved the montage with Victor and Sierra especially. Also great song choice. I've never heard the song before, but it was very evocative.

Thank you.

I really loved the montage with Victor and Sierra especially.

Their part of "Needs" really broke my heart.

Also great song choice. I've never heard the song before, but it was very evocative.

It's a gorgeous song.

Thank you!

And, yes, it's such a beautiful song. There's some of their stuff (mostly live, since they're with WGA and thus the CD stuff is blocked) on youtube.

That's *lovely*. The wistful determination of the song works really nicely as the counterpoint to how everyone in the vid is trapped in a cycle of wishing-becoming-reverting; I love how you illustrate the tension between the actives' wishes for themselves (their original personalities) and their performance of everyone else's wishes.

Lovely!

Argh! As much as it pains me... I just have to wait until I finish my VVC vid before watching this, lest it crush my will to vid beneath its awesomeness. *bookmarks*

I'm so excited to see a Dollhouse vid! I enjoyed watching this. I had never heard this song before, but I think it's an excellent choice. I wasn't completely in love with some of the effects, but I thought you hit a really good rhythm with the clips - I especially liked the opening with Victor/Sierra and the ending montage with Echo.

I thought you did a gorgeous job. That expression sounds.. odd, but that's really what I mean. :)

The song was an excellent choice. I love your placing of the clips with "steel" and "tender bodies," and especially the parts about "try to save her you will never win." The parts where Topher is in danger are awesome. The vid gets really confusing towards the end, with the lyrics all kind of melding together, as do the clips. I really enjoyed that, and commend you for it, as it looks difficult getting it just right, and with the cool effects, too.

Overall, I loved every bit of it. I only got to see it after last week's episode, though, and so I'm sad that there aren't bits of Dominic in it, but still, it is so pretty and awesome just the way it is.

And btw, how messed up would going to the attic be? At first I didn't like him, because he was just kinda mean, but then he was sorry, and got more interesting, and now I'm sad to see him go. He totally has to come back.

oh it's beautiful, & sort of heartbreaking. i haven't started to watch this series yet, but this vid still grabbed me hard - there is so much desperation & emotion in this... beautiful.

This is such a great - and haunting - vid. I like how you used the first line to showcase the four Acitves in their various imprints. And then the Sierra/Victor bit - ow. And then the Paul/Echo bits, especially how much the line "She'll be new again" strikes me (and the use of clips from Paul's dream around that line).
