Kings 1x02 - Prosperity

butterflyPolitical intrigue! Yay! And David stampeding through it all, upsetting all the apple carts. Hee. Everyone else is trying to play the game and he's all *flail* *see my big flaily emotion*.
I feel so bad for Jack. He loses his seat at the big table (his uncle, I think, further orchestrating discord by making him feel like his mother as well as his father has abandoned him for the greener pastures of David), then the credit card decline. His men love him, though (which we saw implied last week when David was all, "Hell, no, Jack didn't have anything to do with the ambush."), so at least he has that.
They introduced a few Big Secrets this week (the photograph; Michelle's vow) that I'm sure will be followed up on later.
The birds were epic and over the top and awesome. They wouldn't leave because they had a purpose to save David.
