butterfly: (Anything Interesting Going On? -- Annie)

So, the new Being Human aired and I have opinions.

1. OMG! I love the new Annie. I mean, I really liked the Original Annie, but it is nothing compared to my intense and deep newfound adoration of New Annie. She's so hopeful and vivacious and sweet. I *heart* New Annie.

2. I like new Mitchell. I don't OMG!LOVE him the way that I do New Annie, but I do like him. He's definitely different from Original Mitchell; not as languid or calm, but I can grow to love New Mitchell (I actually really liked his emotional reaction to George changing -- it really seemed to affect him). And I quite like his accent.

3. George was George and I still *heart* him.

4. Lauren was better. I'm roughly 'eh' on the other vampires, but I really liked New Lauren.

5. Also, in mentioning my love for New Annie, it has adjusted my relationships view of the show -- in the Original Pilot, I felt a very OTP-vibe with Mitchell and George, but in the New Pilot, I get a very OT3-vibe with the roommates. Before, it felt very Mitchell&George + Annie, but now it feels Mitchell&George&Annie.

I have to see this, but I'm just....still gonna miss the old Annie (and her accent) and the old gothic Mitchell.

Argh :)

Since I don't know why the casting changes occurred, I'm going to roll with it. I really do absolutely adore New Annie. New Mitchell I need more time with, but I love New Annie.

This is almost exactly my reaction. I adore new!Annie so much, and new!Mitchell is starting to grow on me. And as always, love George. As someone who gravitates towards slash, I do miss that it is slightly less George/Mitchell OTP, but I also love the OT3 feel (which I also felt for the old cast), so...basically, I'm happy.

Exactly. Overall, I think that I'm really going to enjoy the series. Which is all of the good.

*stalks your Being Human tags*

I never saw the original pilot, but dude, Annie? Love her to bits. Doesn't hurt that she's also the chick who played one of Martha's kidnappers in "Gridlock," and I've thought she was cute since the first time I saw that ep.

George. ALONSO! OMG! And with the adorable awkwardness. Love.

Mitchell's Token Vampire Angst is kinda eh so far, but I could stare at that actor all day. He is beautiful.

I was going to download the original Pilot, but hearing there's a different Annie? Nah, never mind. I ADORE Annie. Lenora Crichlow is awesome. I just love, love, love her and have no desire to see anybody else playing her. I was about to watch episode 3, but it was funky and messed up, so re-downloading. I hope to be caught up by tonight and don't want to give any further opinions/read any further opinions until I'm done, but unless the show wildly veers off course and disappoints, I'm SO making an Annie icon. I love the one you have in this post, *loved* that moment. She's so adorable and squishy, and does the drama and angst so well.

You know who she reminds me of now that I think about it? Billie Piper. Same lovable, adorable, natural vibe. And both have FABULOUS smiles.

ETA: Ah! Read the comment above mine. She was the girl in "Gridlock?" Ooh, I remember that I really liked her. Not surprised. Now, I can't wait to get to that episode in my rewatch. Squee!!
