The Sentinel: First Season
May. 9th, 2006 01:36 pmOverall, I really liked it. There were a couple of moments that I surprised had actually happened and weren't dream-sequence moments (because they seemed kinda -- flashy and easy, maybe?). I came out of the season really liking Blair and Jim, which makes me happy, and hoping that the second season comes out soon.
I'm currently doing a slower rewatch of the season, so hopefully I'll have deeper thoughts at some future point in time.

I'm excited it's on DVD. I've noticed both it and Due South have been getting a lot of fan interest revival lately. I like that.

Date: 2006-06-05 09:50 pm (UTC)I'm only up to the third episode of my rewatch of Hercules and Iolaus was only in the first one! I've been so disappointed (though I did like both blind!DOOOOOOOM!guy and Salmoneous (that is so not spelled right)).

Date: 2006-06-05 09:47 pm (UTC)Whereas, yeah, with SG-1, Daniel and Jack's het relationships exist in a special 'slash-free' zone. They were clearly and obviously very real and tender relationships in a way that Jim's marriage just wasn't ("Maybe if you'd kissed me like that before, we'd still be married."), so much so that I really can't read or believe in J/D slash that's set before Sha're's death.
