I have disliked Cally since... second season sometime. I'm not sure when, exactly, but at some point she stopped being the cool chick who bit off someone's ear and became the Chief's crazy-obsessed wanna-be girlfriend. And then she shot Boomer (speaking of -- Boomer? Why are you betraying me by making out with Cavil? He is creepy and more creepy, while you had a really amazing character arc in first season (and, like, half of second) and I love you to bits. Please, I hope this is a cunning plan for your own survival and that you have hopes to leave his creepy, creepy ass behind at some point.) and got celebrated for it. And then there's the whole 'I will use the Chief hitting me as a way to guilt him into marrying me' which has been creeping me out since it happened and having it confirmed that that is, indeed, exactly what she did (and that she wishes he'd hit her again so she can do it more)... creepy and wrong and ick.
And she wasn't any better in this episode. She hates Cylons. Hates them so much that nothing she feels is greater and that she can come within steps of killing her own kid because he's been tainted by being half-Cylon. And there isn't a chance in hell she would have kept the secret.
But that death... that death is not something to be wished on anyone. Cally was a petty, hateful person. She didn't deserve to die.
That said, given the hateful pettiness and the "she's totally going to rat on them if she actually thinks rather than reacting" thing, I get why Tory killed her. I just... wish there'd been a better way. Especially since it's possible that no one will know the truth -- Cally can get fingered for being crazy and depressed (both of which are true, but neither of which are the whole of the truth) and Tyrol and Tory are in the clear.
Loved Lee's plotline. Seriously, that's all I have to say. Love him, love his plot. Well, I really love him in civilian clothes. I'm really glad that he stood up for his character development and didn't rejoin the fleet. He's got principles.
Found Kara's plot to be... hmm. When she taunted Anders, I said, "Well, someone's been watching S6 Buffy," and there are definitely similarities. Still, it actually is a reaction that makes sense and is in character, plus it led to the post-sex scene between Kara and Anders, which I found really cute (despite wanting to caution Anders that he definitely should not be confessing his Cylon nature any time soon).

And Boomer... oh, Boomer. I used to love Boomer and dislike the Eight who became Athena a great deal. Now it's the other way round. Boomer has been creeping me out for a while now. And I really, really hope you're right that making out with Cavil is a survival plan. Ick!
I planned no space for BSG icons. This is tragic. Since I'm not getting rid of any Who icons, I may have to get a paid account after all. *shakes fist at icon god*
