Doctor Who and Birthdays and Family

For the most part, yesterday was actually quite boring. I went to work, was there for about ten hours, and then I went home.

Once I got home, several very sweet people here told me 'happy birthday'.

Then my uncle called to ask that I come visit him (in Hawaii). So, my mom and I are planning on going near the end of January, details to be worked out further when I know my school schedule.

And then...

Well, it's hard not to think of it as the world giving me a rather spectacular birthday present.

Last night, some pictures of Billie filming for Doctor Who popped up. Today, the BBC has confirmed that she's returning for three episodes in S4.

I enjoyed S3, without Billie and Rose. I could enjoy Doctor Who without her for the foreseeable future. But, oh, I'm so joyous at the news that she's returning. I adore Rose Tyler. In the grand tradition of people in love, she and the Doctor really made each other better people together (plus, so very happy).
