And I just realized how lucky I was to have known David Henry. Who looks just like Lance does in that picture.
Ah... David, my first real crush. I knew him from my Freshman year to the beginning of my Senior year. We were in a church singing group together. He is one of the most gorgeous guys in existence. Totally out of my league, considering I was too shy to say hello to him most of the time.
He actually formed a three-person 'group' called the AttaKats with two other guys in our church group. They made like $15 singing on the sidewalk when we were on tour in San Francisco. I would try to stand in front of him in rehearsals, so I could close my eyes and just let his voice shake me.
He had the best abs that I've ever seen. And he wasn't shy about taking off his shirt in mixed company, so we got to see them a lot. He was dedicated to singing but wasn't afraid to joke around and look like an idiot.
I wish that I'd been more confident in my high school years. 'Cause, if nothing else, he would have made a great friend.
