In other news, I finished FOTR.

I never want to read it again. Ever.

I'll read TT and ROTK, for the movies' sakes, but I'm pretty sure that I'll never want to read them again, either.

I hate Tolkien's writing style.

I can re-read WOT, but not this.

I'm glad it's not just me. I haven't even gotten very far, and I pretty much glossed over the prologue about hobbits. I knew there was a reason I never read these before.

I mena, I've heard so many good things about it, too.

But it's not good. Tolkien had some good ideas but really sucked at presentation.

I always feel slightly guilty with I don't like what many people think is great literature. Like I'm shallow, or I just don't get it. I hate to admit that I've never been able to get all the way through Wuthering Heights. But I *am* going to read the entire LotR series. Yes. I am.
