butterflyI fucking love this song. Yes, I know that it's a manipulative thing, but really, all songs are. This song manipulates me like Justin's laugh in Bye, Bye, Bye does.
See, Britney? Really has no right singing this song. But unlike some of her other songs, I have no problem with mentally removing Britney from the song.
Because, whether or not the lyrics fit Britney, they do fit me.
I mean, I'm not a girl, because of the whole age thing and well, I'm just not, okay, go with me on this one. But I'm not really a woman because I don't really have practical experience, it's all theoretical.
Plus, I'm a sap and I like ballads. The piano gets to me. And her voice sounds less processed in this song. And it's kinda sexy. In this song. It's really the only song in the whole group that consists of Britney that makes me go, "Mmm... sexy."
