Well, Ma and Pa Kent kissed, but I don't think that's what you thought I meant.
Superpowered flowers brought out the assholish/id-ish side of people's natures. Pa Kent became a beer-guzzling macho idjit; Lana became a total sexpot and tried to seduce Whitney, Clark, and arguably Lex; and Pete decided to assassinate Lex.
They all got convenient amnesia when cured.
Kryptonite was only indirectly involved. Whee!
And Lex and his mad scientist still have the flowers that caused it all. Ooooh. Eeeeevil Lex.
Villian of the Week created by exposure to Kryptonite. Bad things happen to Clark's friend/neighbor/parents/man walking down the street. Clark feels guilty. Chloe investigates. Tension between Clark/Lex. Veiled comments about secrets. Tension between Clark/Lana; close-ups of Lana. Lana simpers about parents being killed by meteor. The Kents don't like Lex. Lex/Clark band together to help. VotW is defeated. Smarmy, trite ending with Clark and Lana/Chloe/Lex.
The end.
