My cable modem is down and I'm posting from the library. I can only be on for 50 minutes.
Grr.
So, I went to therapy and when I got back at 1:30 pm, the computer couldn't go online. I checked the cords and tried again. After that didn't help, I called my mom, who gave me the number of the Broadband company we use.
I talked to a guy named Derek and he told me that a cable person would call me, probably in less than an hour.
Two hours later, I called back. Derek was gone, so I told Jason that I'd waited and gotten no call. He called and told me to wait for a call.
At 5:30 pm, I called back and this time, I talked to the supervisor, who connected me directly to the cable person.
Who informed me that everyone went home at 5 pm.
I sent up an appointment for tomorrow between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm, called my mom to tell her, and then spent a few solitary moments in tears.
And then I came to the library.
45 minutes now.
Grr.
