The more I think about it, the more the whole Tina thing is, you know, offensive. And annoying. Which doesn't change the great acting job that Tina (what's the actor's name?) and everyone who played her did. Just, on the level where I'm bisexual and yet, oddly enough, not homicidal, it's annoying. Of course, if they had a gay/bi character who wasn't evil, all would be well. But at the moment, our only textually queer character was evil and obsessive. And is now dead.

I loved the part where the ship saved Clark. Whee! Clark is an Alien! Who knew?

I can definitely see all the other problems that people mentioned.

Lex's heart was not in that speech to Helen. I'm going to say Lex because I trust that MR isn't going to drop the ball like that without a reason. But seriously, the last time that we heard about Helen, she'd just accepted his offer to go 'do something'. This does not make them anything other than 'dating'. Also, Lex is rather obsessed with the whole 'savior' concept, which just makes it look like he's projecting (is that the right word?) his feelings for Clark onto Helen. Because Clark actually has a) saved his life and b) made him realize that he can have at least one friend. And maybe the producers want to make it look like that's what Lex is doing.

It was nice to see Clark and Lex hanging out, playing pool. Makes it easy to infer that they do that all the time. Like Xander talking about movie night in Him, implying that he does that all the time.

And I was with Chloe on the Betsy Ross thing. Very disappointing to find out the truth. I can remember when I looked up to BR, too.

And Lana's speech at the end also totally ignored the fact that she now has a live parent wandering around.
