A couple of cool vids:

This vid is actually three vids in one. The first is a constructed reality vid that puts Buffy (Wanda) as the abused wife of Warren (Earl), with Willow (Mary-Anne) as her friend from high school who comes to help Buffy kill off Warren. Features Xander in two short bits as the Other Man. Seriously, in the world of the vid, that's the way his part makes sense. It's a great vid that is just tremendously amusing.

The next part is a Spike piece. It's hilarious and brilliant. I think that my favorite part is Spike lighting a cigarette, then the cut to Angelus exhaling the smoke from that smoking chick he killed. Great cut. It traces all of Spike's behavior to 'family tradition'. Smoking, drinking, leaving Buffy in the lurch, getting ensouled.

The last part of the vid is a Xander piece, which automatically makes me go, "yay!". It has a bit of the Sexy Dance in it, which is another of my automatic "yay!" things. Basically, it's just a neat Xander character exploration to Little Pink Houses. It has Xander staking Teresa (Phases) wonderfully on beat. Great vid. This part is the longest of the three sections of the vid.


If I Were Your Woman (Farscape)

John/Chiana 'shipper vid and probably a large part of the reason that I've decided to 'ship them. Because! So pretty and cute here.

It starts with a brief clip from Look at the Princess. The bit at the end, where John says, "Don't you think that there are things to say?" and Aeryn says, "At this point, what else can we say but 'good-bye'?"

Anyway, the vid is done from Chiana's perspective. And... it's really well-done. And I still don't know the characters terribly well, so I don't know if the clips they chose are... ones that were taken from place where the characters were being themselves or not. Anyway, it has high-quality clips, the song is nice, and the vid makes perfect sense to someone not familiar with the episodes involved.

And did I mention the pretty?
