Okay, I'm not seeing any confusion in Angel's "All Souls?". At least, not confusion about the phrase. I mean, the look he gave Spike was all, "Yes, I did know that, you idiot." Wesley just always feels the need to explain. This is the man who went, "Ah... telekinesis... the power of moving things with one's mind."
And wow, but Wesley is solicitous with Angel in this episode. He's all racing to Angel's side, and giving concerned looks. It's so totally sweet. And it's there on Angel's side, too. He really wants to reach out to Wes, that much is obvious when he goes to Wes' office. There's a reciprocity there was wasn't so much in Seasons One or Two (or what I've seen of Three). Perhaps he had to feel like he'd truly lost Wes to realize how important Wesley was to him. Maybe.
Note to self: Make an Angel/Wes icon.
And I love that Wesley isn't telling Angel everything. He didn't mention that he picked Harmony and he didn't mention that the brother was #5 (check out the look on Angel's face after he opens the door). He probably thinks that it's good for Angel to be surprised. Also, it makes for good petty revenge.

Man, I need an Angel/Wes icon. Hmm. Need to find a good screencap.
And thank you. That's very nice to hear. I always wonder if people read the ones that don't get commented on.
