Classes were so much fun today. In World Lit., we talked about Rousseau and Blake. I was surprised by how much I liked Rousseau -- yeah, he's self-indulgent to an extreme, but his writing is approachable enough that I can almost understand his fascination with himself. And I agree with a lot of what he says about the uniqueness of each being (we are all unique and beautiful snowflakes), though unique isn't the same as 'deserving of six books of praise'.

I also really liked looking at Blake -- I'd forgotten that he was the writer of 'Tyger, Tyger', which is a poem I've loved for ages.

Both of my classes on are second floors (of different buildings). This is very good, as I have a tendency to be lazy when not pushed.

Oh yay. I've been looking for that icon you're using. What season and scene is that from? I want to make an icon out of that screen shot.

Season Five, The Replacement -- Buffy reading in Xander's basement, I believe. That blur of orange is Riley's shirt.

Ok, thanks. Hey, I suck at icons and I was wondering since you're so good at it, if you wouldn't mind making an icon for me if I supply the picture and tell you what I want. I know what I want it to say but I suck at doing text.

If you don't want to do it, that's fine too.

I'm always up for fun iconic goodness. Just email me (butterfly_in_motion@hotmail.com) with a subject like 'icon' or something obvious and simple (otherwise, there's a chance I'll accidentally skip over it and delete it -- because anything not from a known address goes to junkmail.) and I'll play around with it and see if I can give you something you'll like.

After church, yep. [livejournal.com profile] _hemogoblin_ will be in town for a visit, so I may try to finagle him into coming over or something.

Gah! I actually looked at my calendar (I need to do this more often). After church I have a meeting from 12-1:30, and then I have a healing service at St Gabe's from 5:45 - 7:30. Is this workable aroundable, or would you like to reschedule? I'm also going to see the Passion on Saturday with a group of friends. You could come if you like!

Well, time-wise, that is pretty tight. Would things be better next Sunday?

(and I definitely can't do anything Sat -- work, like, most of the day)

My brain is truly fried. The 12-1:30 meeting is actually April 18. Let me double check on the St Gabe's thing. *shakes head* With my luck that's really the 11th.

It's all good. I should probably do the homework assignment that's due Monday night, anyway.

*hugs*
