Angel 5x20 -- The Girl in Question

How an episode that's all about Buffy can not at all be about Buffy is pretty impressive (and vice versa). Would have been a completely different episode if they'd actually had her, and one that wouldn't have been as amusingly ambigious.

Brilliantly funny. Couldn't begin to count how much I laughed during the episode.

I hope that the last two episodes make me this happy. Because while I was watching it, I didn't think about the end once.

That was nice.

i thought they handled the lack of buffy well. my favourite part was the whole cookie dough scene - and the mental image of the immortal eating "cookie dough"? priceless.

I think that the absence of Buffy was probably better than the presence -- fits with the theme of the season, with is all about the absence.

And god, yes, the things that Angel and Spike were saying... I was dying of laughter.
