I agree. Gen. Jack is a lot of fun. (In tv reality) The world is a safer place. At least from alien parasitic snakes and other hostile non-terran races. I really warmed to Jack's character because he's a nice alternative to my own experience with the Air Force point of view, speaking as an Air Force brat myself.
Yeah, my Air Force experience is pretty much limited to Stargate. My dad was in the Army, which doesn't count. Well, he said that, so.
I love when those two have those types of really intense arguments. I'm glued to the screen.
My favorite friendships always seem to be the ones that can have straight-up, passionate fighting (other examples -- Buffy/Xander, Fraser/RayK, even Clark/Lex). It's the strength of the emotions that are brought to the table, the fact that they care so damn much.
But I liked that actor back from the Parker Lewis Can't Lose days. (Don't know if you ever saw that show.)
Haven't, but I do quite like Jonas Quinn (I've seen seven episodes with him). The actor is really good in Shadowplay (the episode after Abyss, Daniel's first sixth season appearance).
