butterflyI've got a pretty busy day today (Which is why it's unfortunate that I couldn't sleep last night. Still, I'm young. I'll bounce back.). I'm attending a good-bye party for a friend, then going to my aunt's graduation and then I have work.
It's a nice day out, so I'm taking the opportunity to wear one of my favorite dresses. Part of the reason that I like it is because I've had it since... oh, 8th grade. It was actually my dress for my first dance at Portland Lutheran. And it still fits. Though now it's rather shorter now, considering that I have grown a touch since then (it used to be knee-length). Particularly in the bust. The ribbon used to hit my waist and now... really doesn't (which I love -- I adore that design on dresses... is it the Regency period that I'm thinking of?)
But it's a wonderful summer dress, very light, with vibrant colors (purple, mostly).
