Interestingly enough, as illustrated by her reaction at the end of The Other Side, Sam is the most strictly ethical person of the group. She follows orders, yes, but doesn't ever go the steps beyond that Daniel, Jack, and Teal'c have all taken. More than that, all of them have given into the power of revenge at least once, whereas I can't think of an instance where Sam has (Is there one?). Daniel actually tends to be more about situational ethics (example: Beast of Burden), whereas Jack and Teal'c just want to get the job done.
