Nov. 30th, 2004 11:41 amOn my way to work, I saw a sign -- 'Welcome Chistmas Tree Fans'.
In the holiday season, the word 'Christmas' is everywhere. How can someone miss the 'r' and not notice?
In other news, my new part-time job seems to be going well and I've gotten all of my gifts for my mom.
Haven't gotten anything for anyone else yet, but that's what moms are for. We'll go shopping together and it'll be fun (I do have broad outlines for most people -- my aunt likes biographies, my grandma likes odd things, my brother is easy enough to shop for, my dad is very easy.). And I'll feel better knowing that all of her gifts are bought and wrapped.
Does the Salvation Army still have cred? I dropped some money off in one of those buckets, then remembered that I'd read something negative about them. Are there issues? Are they reliable? Should I be trusting them to help people?
Hmm.
edit: I was rec'd on versaphile. Wow. Seeing recs for my stuff always makes me all giddy. It's for some of my Angel: the Series fic. Eeep!
