So, I'm finally watching the end of season seven of Stargate: SG-1 (probably because of reading about the renewal -- I'd sorta been holding the second half of the season 'in reserve' because I didn't want the viewing experience to end. Happily, this is no longer a problem for this season. Yay for season nine!).
And Sam comes off so much better in Heroes than I'd been expecting (much as Fred came across so much better in Forgiveness than I'd expected from reading transcripts and various reviews). Yeah, I do agree that she shouldn't have broken position to go and stare at Jack, but I didn't think that she dismissed Cassie (she mentions the need to go check on Cassie later, when she's with Teal'c) and she does say that someone helped her find words for her speech. And I liked the way she was all nervous on camera -- it wasn't just the Jack question that got her fluttery, it was everything.
Daniel was as wonderful as I'd expected from reviews (and oh, so very beautiful), but I definitely liked Sam much more than I'd thought I would. In fact, I'm enjoying this second half of S7 much more than I thought I would, just from reading reviews.
