(no subject)

So, we lost power again last night. This time, it was because a power station burst into flames! No, really. Complete with a fireball that leapt five-hundred feet into the air.

The power went out around eight and judging by the blinking of the clocks, it came on again around six-ish (yay for cell phones).

Also, a bit before the power went out last night, I posted a vid. Well, I call it a vid, but it is really more of a giddy manifesto of joy on the Tenth Doctor's friendship/love for Rose Tyler (spoilers only up to the most recently US aired episode).

In other news, I think I'm about five hundred words from being done with my yuletide story (I went over the minimum a while back, but the story definitely wasn't done yet).

So, yes, stuff. And reasons that I'm glad to have power again!

So, I've finished up the first draft of my yuletide story and currently have someone looking it over before I edit and upload.

And writing this has made me really realize that I miss writing. I've been so caught up in vidding, which I adore, that I've let my writing fall by the wayside a little. Before this story, the last time that I posted a story was back in June (Days Like This, for the Jack/Daniel ficathon).

So, I may let the vids I have half-made (two, at the moment -- a Clark/Lex and a Captain Jack (Doctor Who/Torchwood) sit for a bit while I refocus on writing.
