Thoughts on writing -
Sep. 14th, 2003 02:45 amInterestingly, my two recent stories were written in completely different ways. My Lesbian Love Affair by Buffy Anne Summers popped into my head and the entire time, I knew where I was going. I was writing something that was already there. Deep In was written sentence by painstaking sentence and I had no clue where I would end up.
Which way is better? Hard to say. There's nothing quite like that burst of inspiration that tells you everything. There's also nothing like building a story piece by piece, because it feels more... real. It feels solid around your, like you could step into it and examine everything and say - I made that. Whereas with MLLAbBAS, it felt more like I was discovering a story already written.
