It's my own fault:

Interesting thoughts by sistermagpie regarding Draco and Gollum.

It made me think more of why I identify with Draco. She mentions that he brought on his problems himself.

So have I. Most of the bad things in my life are my own fault. Because I was scared. Because I didn't know what to do.

And it's horrible to realize that. To know that you caused your problems. That who you are is screwing your life up.

"It is no surprise to me, I am my own worst enemy."

Another reason I sympathize with Draco. They're really adding up.
