Which Famous Homosexual are you?

How spiffing! You're Alexander the Great!

Yeah, baby. You were the King of Macedonia, and conqueror of much of the world; you're responsible for the spread of Christianity, as well as Hellenistic society and even the Roman Empire. Your power was feared for thousands of miles around.

And how gay were you. When you'd conquered Persia, you fell in love with a male courtier from that court - scandalous in those days, because the Persians were believed to be uncivilised barbarians.

You were always really in love with your boyhood friend, Hephaestion, and when he died you were grief-stricken to a legendary degree: convinced that he would live on after death, you passed away soon afterwards.

[livejournal.com profile] canadia_bit mentioned something in the buffy_bitches community that I agree with and feel like talking about.
Oh, but I do have one comment. I really wish people wouldn't write stuff about Buffy if they don't know what they're talking about. I just read a post where someone said that all the foreshadowing in "Lessons" proved that Joss had very little involvement with the episode. WtF? He wrote the damn ep! How much more involved can you get?

And I so agree with that. It always bothers me when critics get stuff wrong. Because if you weren't watching it closely enough to pick up the major things like that, then you were not watching closely enough to give it a fair shake. Like when some of the people hating on Lance call him a 21 year old. Dude, if you didn't get his age, then you probably didn't notice his qualifications one way or another.
Blah, blah, rantcakes )

Plus, way passive-aggressive.

So, what did I do today?

I've made icons (Lindsey! Almost finished!). Watched some Smallville music vids. Nothing much.

What did I say I would do today?

I said that I would walk in the Teddy Bear parade. I said that I would be present as the president of my chapter of CAR (Children of the Revolution, an off-shoot of Daughters of the Revolution. Mainly, it's kids of the members of DAR).

I did not go. Furthermore, I did not call to say that I wasn't going.

Because I suck. Also, I really hate that stuff. But a non-sucky, non-cowardly, non-passive-aggressive person would have said this. In fact, said person would have said no when asked to do it.

*sigh*

I really need to talk to Mary. Apologize. And then tell her that I really don't want to do this. And I never have and it was all for mom and grandma. I should.

*sigh*

I mean, I'm supposed to be babysitting her kid Monday, so I'll have to see her.

*sigh*

I'm thinking of doing a Faith/Buffy icon set.

Hmm.
