There was a dog wandering around in the rain. As this is Not Good, I am Taking Steps. Which means calling the number on his collar, which belongs to Clackamas Dog Control.

So, yes, taking steps.

Hmm. He isn't in the system any longer. Bad owner who didn't renew.

Have reported him as a found dog and if necessary, will put up posters.

But! Puppy!

*ignores fact that dog is terrier and thus naturally small*

Dog is now Jaycee for as long as he's with me. Which could be as long as over the weekend, yo.

Jaycee is not fond of cats.

Very sad discovery.

Plus, now I have traumatized cats. Highly unpleasant.

Still have not found owner.

Obviously.

Will not be able to keep him, sadly. Even if owner remains unfound.
