He'd killed Wash, and that meant that he could kill anyone. I was seriously afraid that Simon would die, that Zoe would get herself killed, that Jayne would die, or Kaylee. The only two people that I wasn't deeply worried over were Mal and River because... on the movie poster.
I know! I wasn't expecting Book to die, but it didn't come as a huge surprise. But Wash! So quick! And Zoe, oh my Zoe. I was so scared for her after that. Anything could've happened then, because even though it was unlikely Joss would kill so many of his cast, I knew that emotionally and plot-wise they were all ripe for the picking. Meep!
