Dude, I loved Ezri. I didn't even realize it was her until I saw her name in the credits. Possibly this is due to James Callis on BSG being an exact replica of Siddig from DS9 and yet not being him.

But yes. Ezri! If I'd known she was in it, and if I'd known AMH was the star, I totally would have been watching three years ago.

But the other Dax was great, too, and I'm not discounting her. She was an *awesome* character, and I even had a little crush on Terry Farrel when I was in college. But Ezri's more my type.

It was an interesting thing to do for the final season, since Terry Ferrel wanted to leave the show before its run was over, to just take the natural course for Trills and have a new Dax everyone has to get used to like Ben did with Jadzia in Season 1.

Completely. And we never got to see that uncertain time with Jadzia -- she'd already mostly integrated by the time she joined up with Ben. Plus, Ezri was just gallons of cute.

Jadzia was pretty kick-ass, too. I loved her friendship with Quark so much. And she was a lot of fun. They're both great. But Ezri has the edge for me, too.
