Where in Germany? (that's a popular question)... I lived in Darmstadt for about three years. My dad was stationed at Cambri Fritch Kaserne (which was near Rhine Mein/Frankfurt).
I was in Fulda, which is also nearish Frankfurt (so my mom tells me).
I almost had to do that. My parents sent me to school in Panama young so when we moved in the middle of the school year to New York. They almost made me stay behind and repeat it again but my parents objected (heh, not going back to having a kid at home all day...) and since I already completed part of it, I got to finish the rest.
Lucky! Sadly, we moved there in between school years, so my parents were willing to go with the flow.
