1) It's sweet that Isaac's first thought when he realized that Derek would be chaining them up for the full moon was "but then you'll be alone". Okay, so it was in the context of 'against the Argents, who are dangerous' but, hey! It was a moment of concern for Derek, who no one is ever concerned enough about.
2) The inside of Jackson's head seems to be very similar, temperament-wise, to the inside of Nina's head (The Black Swan). They both strive so hard to be perfect and can't view other people rationally; they both have a lot of body-horror moments, they're both basically eating themselves from the inside out because they hate and fear their own bodies. And both of them desperately wanted something that ends up causing them incredible mental, emotional, and physical anguish.
3) ...I don't understand what in the world Scott and Allison were talking about in the library.
"It doesn't mean anything."
"It feels like it does."
???
Matt is paralyzed. Erica is having a seizure. wtf are the two of you doing while this is happening? Having a moment about your relationship instability? Seriously? Priorities! Priorities!
I'm so confused about this moment.
4) Lydia is being dream-stalked (or possibly real-stalked) by dead Peter Hale. Who is burned all over. This is very disturbing. I disapprove of Lydia being out of the loop. She needs to be in the loop!
5) You know, as I get to know Stiles better, he actually is reminding me more of Wesley (Jossverse) than of Xander (Jossverse). Wesley with a very large dash of Pacey (Dawson's Creek). Is this seriously the actor's first real job? That's impressive. He's very talented. Speaking of, Erica calling Stiles a good Batman was an adorable moment (and it's refreshing that Erica realizes who is to thank for getting her to Derek because it seemed like Scott and Allison might have just stared at each other for hours if Stiles hadn't been nudging them along to help already).
6) Ouch at Derek needing to break Erica's arm to kick-start the healing process. And that must have been horrifying for Erica, who probably thought she'd never have another seizure again after she got the bite.
