I went to see my dad this weekend and, as always, we bonded by watching things. This is the only way we really know how to bond. So, I watched the first three episodes of Once Upon a Time (he's also seen Grimm; he says OUAT is better).

I haven't seen Grimm, so I can't speak to which is better, but OUAT is good.

It's an interesting show. Somehow I'd missed that Jennifer Morrison was in it, so it was nice to see her.

I like Snow and Emma quite a bit.

Mary-Margaret is a sweetheart, but Snow is so fantastic that part of me is disappointed when MM is there because it means that we aren't with Snow.

I'm amused by the bloodline's love of cinnamon. The actual premise of the show is enjoyable, because it means we get to spend time in two very different worlds. Part of me wonders how the show will be feasible long-term, though, given the premise. Seems like it might be more suited to a limited run rather than an open-ended one.

I think that I'll try to catch up on the rest of the season and add it to the shows that I'm watching.

It's largely enjoyable, with some elements that I wish they wouldn't use over again.
