Avengers question: secondary characters?

I don't know if anyone will know the answer, but I was wondering if Pepper and Rhodey are in The Avengers movie. I didn't see them in the trailer, but it was kinda packed full. Obviously, Steve left his secondary characters behind (at least for the moment) at the end of his, but I'm curious about Pepper and Rhodey. Also, I know there's a love interest named 'Jane' in Thor because I have seen her mentioned in the movie-fic. Do we know if she's in The Avengers?
