butterflyI think that my other feelings about the show let me have distance from the whole 'new Doctor' thing, because I'm mostly just amused (though, oh, I had a tug of "I wanna keep Ten" during TND, but that's just because I love him and even more so when RTD is writing him and, in my less emotional moments, I know that it's for the best that he's leaving. Clean slate for Moffat and whatnot.).
I'm amused that Matt Smith is less a month older than I am. I'm very amused that the actor was in one thing with Billie where he played her best friend and another where he played her lover, meaning that Eleven/Rose vidding could start at any moment. I'm glad that Matt Smith seems enthusiastic about the part.
Mostly, though, I'm just generally amused by it all.
