Yeah. I actually saw commentary (from generally reasonable people) who hoped that Gwen had "learned her lesson." Que? So... we don't want Gwen to go all out to help other people?
The sexism is strong in this fandom. Why do shows that break the boundaries and have strong female characters have fans that only wish those female characters would crash and burn? Saw it all the time in BtVS, too, people who wanted Buffy to 'get what she deserved'.
