I have finally downloaded Firefox as of this morning. For now, I will only say this: the tabbing feature is kinda neat (specifically, I like how when you open new tabs, they don't leap on top of the old screen, so you can just keep going down your flist). Apart from that, I am reserving judgment.

Woooot, Firefox.

Don't forget the supplemental features (you have to download them separately), like Session Saver, which reloads all of your tabs when you restart your computer. Particularly handy when your computer crashes. I also like the add-on that colors each tab differently and which puts a Close Tab button on each tab.

Tabbed browsing + LJ FList = OTP !

And I love you for spelling judgment correctly.

I've been sick and computer-less, but will get back to you soon re tech issues.

I LOVE the tabbing features in Firefox, especially when I'm checking my LJ in the morning..by the time I get to the part I read the night before I sometimes have 10 to 15 tabs open.

Firefox is awesome. There's a bunch of the supplements that can be added that I can't live without, like the music controls or the one that blocks/removes ads from the pages and it blocks most popups too.

I went out and checked out the supplemental features after reading this and I've already gotten the ones you mentioned -- I love the colored tabs ones, it really helps let them all stand out. And Session Saver looks very useful.

I am beginning to see why there was such a fuss over Firefox when it showed up.

Complete true! I've been stunned at how helpful it is with lj. Just like they were made for each other.

And I love you for spelling judgment correctly.

Hee. Thanks.

Being sick sucks. *hugs* Take all the time you need (and being computer-less also very much sucks).

The tabbing seems like it's going to be very useful indeed, especially on lj.

I am beginning to agree. It seems to live up to the hype, at least so far.

It's pretty neat so far, definitely. And it feels so much cleaner to only have one browser window open, even if I have, like, ten tabs.

Mouse Gestures is a great add-on which lets you do stuff like open a tab, close one, duplicate tab and more by holding down the right mouse button and then dragging the mouse around. I'm addicted to it.

That does sound pretty neat.

I've definitely taken a liking to Firefox.
