butterflyOkay. I like 'Salem's writing. I will admit that she can get a bit mushy at times. And All I Ever Wanted is probably too long for the story that it tells.
But overall, I like it. And she just put up a FAQ at her site. And it amuses me.

Believe it or not, I get this one a lot. Basically, I write because that's what I do -- I'm a writer, I always have been, I always will be. One day this will end and I'll move on to the next phase, whatever it'll be, but right now I enjoy writing 'N Sync stories, I enjoy the characters and I am forever indebted to the band for providing me with a muse when I needed it most. I post the stories online because I know some people like to read them. I don't do it to be popular or to make friends or to piss someone off. To me, my online weblog and this page are two separate sites, which is why they are hosted on two different domains. If something I say on one page offends a reader of the other, I can't help that. I'm not going to apologize for something that I wrote in a heated moment if that's the way I really feel. I'm not going to curb my thoughts or my words just because it might hurt someone. And if that makes me a bitch, then fine. I'm a bitch.
