Random BtVS credits note and some Xander talk

I love that it goes from Buffy swinging a sword to Xander ('Alex') staking a vamp. It... connects them.

I'm re-recording Buffy Season Seven so that it's separate from the rest of my videos as prep for going to jic's this weekend. Season Six and Seven, baby!

Anyway, man Xander is getting some good moments. And really, Xander doesn't need an arc. He didn't have one at all in Season one. Didn't really have one in season two apart from Cordelia. I prefer Xander giving quality support to Buffy as opposed to a useless and screen-time lacking arc (up til the wedding... or hell, all of Anya/Xander, it only got good once they broke up).

And yeah, this year features the first episode ever without Xander in it but that's much better than five minutes of wedding talk that was repetitious and boring.

Also: Whee! January is Merry/Pippin month on the big Two Towers calendar! And it's so sad that Legolas and Gimli aren't together in the calendar.

Amusingly enough, that's about the same overall slash to het ratio that I seem to prefer. 3 slash couples to one het.
