Not popularity-wise, which is relative anyway. What defines popularity...The one who sells the most lip gloss? I meant he is not quite 1/5th in terms of having not been their from the true begining, not really being part of the *NSYNC name (Lansten? Oh come on), hardly having any vocal parts other than his minor harmonies, and even his shoddy dance contributions. Even Lance has only tenative confidence in his vocals, if we took anything away from his Atlantis concert solo. Everyone has their own opinion of Lance, but I would not be sad at all if he left and Nsync became a quartet.

Mariah:

Lance is such a fucking idiot. Personally, I wouldn't trust some no-name company to fly me to space. That US millionaire who did it a few months ago went with the Russian space team. I guess the only way he could recover from the humiliation of OTL was to become a fucking astronaut. Um, ok.

As for him going, I think it's still a waste of money on ANYONE's part, and it just shows that anything can be bought. Hey... astronauts- you studied all that time in college and grad school, but a boy-bander can go into outer space too for the right price... take that. Might as well chuck your degree out the window.

I don't care if this is a "great opportunity" for Lance. IF this was Justin taking 6-7 months off to do a solo project (which is inevitable) everyone would write him off and call him egotistical. So, what is *NSYNC suppossed to do while Lance is "fulfilling" his dream? And, what exactly made this company want to pick Lance? IF he isn't paying out of his own pockets..what is the big draw? I'm sure *NSYNC has their whole year planned out already, and they were going to take some time off anyway. But, 6-7 months is long time and they are at the height of their career. Without Lance they can't even make special appearances to keep their name in the spotlight.

Like I said, once again people will be laughing at *NSYNC on a whole. NO one knows (or cares) about Lance Bass. The jokes have already started.

I don't know. One of the things that I almost posted was on the lines of 'if this is friendly ribbing, I would never want to be your friend.' And as far as it goes, that's true.

The hell? Okay. Um. That's completely not true. Lance gets a lot more merchandise than Joey, and definitely has a larger fanbase...

I know. I fairly sure that Bari is pulling her information out of the air, but you'd think she would have noticed the posts in the thread about how Lance had as many Rolling Stones as JC and Justin.

And earlier she(was it her? I think it was.) talks about teenies who wear 'Lance Bass is a Hottie' T's and I don't know where that fits in.

those comments are ridiculous. if you claim to be a fan of a group, there's no excuse for talking like that. people need to have some common sense, and know that these guys have lives and dreams that might not concur with what everyone else wants them to do...and don't enough people hate on nsync without their own fans turning on them? i'm trying not to let it get to me though, because nsync doesn't need fans like that. hell i'm sure the guys would be happier with ten fans who were supportive than 10 million who judged their every move.

Thanks for the support. I'm just going to ignore them from now on. Well, not 'ignore' ignore, but not pay attention ignore.

And I normally don't even care about the trials and tribulations of NSync, but I just had to say:

What, they think because they bought a few albums, they're qualified to dictate what the NSync members get to do with the rest of their lives? Please. If Lance wants to go into space, or Joey wants to do a solo album, or JC wants to join an ashram in India, that's *their freaking business*. They don't *owe* the fans any more than what they've already given them. God damn, fangirls with self-important delusions of grandeur make want to get out the Cricket-Bat of Sanity [tm] and whack some serious tush.
