OOOoooo I love Tom McRae! I was so hoping that it was this song when I clicked on it. :)

This video is way totally awesome! Your editing is very tight and I love all your scene selection/lyric matches. You did a great job with that. I also love how you did both Nine/Rose and Ten/Rose and went through similar scenes/instances with them, like them standing together in The End of the World crossfading into them standing in the ash/snow from Christmas Invasion. And I really love the one of Rose returning in The Parting of the Ways weaved in with her coming back from the alternate world in Doomsday--that was brilliant and really well put together/edited. 8) I also really liked how you brought in the TARDIS in the Vortex on that bizarre whistling sound and even added some color. Looks really nice! This made me very sad but it's such a great vid! One of my fav Doctor angsting after Rose vids, now. :) Definitely saving this one!! Fantastic work, keep it up!! ;)

I'm so glad that it worked for you.

I also love how you did both Nine/Rose and Ten/Rose and went through similar scenes/instances with them, like them standing together in The End of the World crossfading into them standing in the ash/snow from Christmas Invasion.

I really did want to express that, for the Doctor, this is still the same relationship.

And I really love the one of Rose returning in The Parting of the Ways weaved in with her coming back from the alternate world in Doomsday--that was brilliant and really well put together/edited.

Thanks! That part came about from a suggestion that my beta, [livejournal.com profile] jic made, so I'll mention to her that you liked it.

I also really liked how you brought in the TARDIS in the Vortex on that bizarre whistling sound and even added some color. Looks really nice! This made me very sad but it's such a great vid! I'm so thrilled that you enjoyed it! Thanks for the great comment.

I saved this during my vacation in rar form just so I'd have it once I got home. It was well worth wait and completely worth the save. I felt my heart swell with the lovely interplay scene's fading in and out, felt it wrench completely when you see Donna all alive juxtaposed by him broken while the words "This is not enough" keep repeating.

This is so beautiful.

*nods*

That's the part of the song that made me sit and up think about how appropriate it was for the Doctor right now. Because he still has time-traveling and saving lives, but right now, the joy he used to take in it isn't quite there.

Thank you -- I'm so glad you liked it.

Absolutely lovely and beautiful and sad. There wasn't a thing about this I didn't like, except possibly for how I could feel my heart breaking all over again. It's all worth it, though, for the love and the beauty that was their relationship - and this was a gorgeous tribute to that. Especially like that there are clips of Rose with both forms of her Doctor, showing the recurring themes of returning and saving and being together.

Thank you for sharing this. ♥

I just now watched this, and I *really* really like it -- I think I like it best of your Ten/Rose vids, partly because I think it's the best song choice for the Doctor's voice, of them, and partly because I feel like you really capture the poignancy and uncertainty of the Doctor, post-Rose, and mostly because of the really nice overall emotional pacing and tone. Very nicely done!
