Now that Spike has that damned soul - a plot device that I refuse to read in fanfiction - Xander/Buffy have my full and undivided pairing wishes for the series.
And I sincerely hope that they don't attempt to use the soul as a way to get B/S again. I don't think they will though, because they had Xander find out about the rape. And he's the sort who remembers that kind of thing.
Souled!Spike just... no. Because he's not the same PERSON anyway. And Buffy had chemistry with Spike, and no. [shakes head] Twisted or not, I was only interested in them when Spike was very morally ambiguous. That was the draw. Otherwise, why not go with Xander? If she's looking for a caring, comfortable guy to settle down with, instead of some nice sexualized violence and danger, then one of her best friends would be a better bet.

I'm not remotely a B/X shipper. I think it would be a little bit lame in a self-gratification kind of way if Joss's alter-ego ended up with Buffy.

Those pictures are great. Those two really look wonderful together (except that overexposed purplish shot, what's up with that?). What are the all-red workshop pictures from? That's so... cute and bizarre.

Actually, I'm not sure where the red shots are from. I'm pretty sure that they were taken first or second season, but that's about it.
