Yes, it's months away. But it is never too soon to plan.

My personal plan is to fly in on Thursday and to fly out on Tuesday (and when I say 'personal plan', what I mean is, I already bought the tickets). This is because, damn it, I want to actually see some of Chicago this time around. Left on Sunday last year and didn't see a thing but the hotel and the street it lived on. I may even see my relatives while I'm there.

The limit per room is 4 people and it'll probably be $99 per night during the convention, as it was last year. If you know that you're going to VVC and you'd like to room with me, I'm opening up the door right now, as it were. And because I'll be staying an extra day, I'd likely want to put the entire stay on my card and would ask that any roommates would pay me their share, which would depend, of course, on how many roommates there end up being (edit: Apparently the hotel is good about splitting the bill, so forget what I just said.).

Eunice and I found out last year that the hotel will let you split the bill and pay them in halves and thirds and whatnots and this was nice and handy.

I'll probably try to fly in Thursday, flying in on Friday was too hectic. I'll also probably fly out on Monday morning, flying out on Sunday was much more expensive.

I'm looking for a roommate as well. Owing to my college student impoverishment and the fact that I live only 3 hours away, I will only be there Friday and Saturday night so I don't know if you want to split the cost of a hotel room with someone who will be there for more cost to split.
