Freaks and Geeks is growing on me

This may end up being a series that I'll rent again in the future, because (having just finished the fifth disc) I now pretty much like all the characters and would like to rewatch the series with that viewpoint. Lindsay continues to be my favorite, but I've really gotten to like not just the rest of the freaks (I adore Kim Kelly at this point, as well), but the Weirs and the geeks. And, ooo!, the adorable David Krumholtz (Mr. Universe from Serenity; Charlie from Numb3rs) was in the latest episode that I saw and was very cute indeed.

He, like pretty much every character in the show, had massive chemistry with Lindsay. I'm thinking of marking off Linda C. as one of those actors who brings their own chemistry and sparks off of most everyone (like Michael Shanks or James Marsters).

I almost watched Scooby Doo for Linda Cardellini. :)

*grins*

I completely watched Scooby Doo for Sarah Michelle Geller. Crushes make people do the wacky.

Isn't amazing how all of the characters grow on you on that show? I remeber having severe dislike/ antipathy towards a lot of the characters in their first or second appearances, but the writers/cast make them so completely human that they all grew on me and in the end I loved them all and was so sad when I watched the last episode.

Yes, that's exactly it. Well, except for Lindsay, who I adores straight off. Everyone else, though, it took a while, but now I'm really pretty sad that the series was cancelled. They deserved longer.
