The world is gay, take fifteen-hundred:

Birds and Bees may be gay: museum exhibit

Geir Soeli, the project leader of the exhibition entitled "Against Nature," told Reuters: "Homosexuality has been observed for more than 1,500 animal species, and is well documented for 500 of them."

Also, on a different note, Supernatural should totally have a Jossverse alum in the third episode of every season. One more year, it'll be a pattern!

Of course! How could I have forgotten Amy Acker!

You're right, the "Supernatural" learning curve has been going in a very encouraging direction (as witnessed by the fact that I continue to watch it, even without the promise of Jossverse alums to sweeten the deal). And yes, I kept expecting "faux-Gunn" (Gordon, was it?) to mention his sister "Alonna" -- except he was more like those ex-comrades of Gunn's who terrorized Caritas in AtS season 3.

Indeed -- he was Gunn without previous knowledge of the horrors of vampires. Gunn was able to put killing his sister into the context of his previous life. Gorden didn't have any previous experience to draw on and just... broke. Too much for him.
