I have a lot of love for James Spader (I adore his Daniel Jackson almost more than Shanks') but this show awoke some kind of crazed Shatner love.
James Spader is a really good actor. I should check out more of his stuff. I think I've only seen this and the Stargate movie (and his Daniel is very cool and it's really easy to read MS's Daniel as a continuation of the same, which is a lot harder with the Jacks).
