Trust

There are only four people that he completely trusts. He should be able to trust his family and he does, but there's a level beyond that that they can't reach. He feels bad about it, guilty that he's given more of himself to the group than his family, but he can't change that now. Still, your family, your blood, is supposed to come first, he's always known that.

But he also knows that no one can make him smile like Joey can. No one can get him to talk like C can. Only Chris can force him away from the computer. Justin's the person who taught him what faith in yourself really is

And all of them know him like you can only know someone after you've lived with them for years. And yeah, he did that with his family but it feels distant and washed-out.

Everything before the group feels like someone else's life, remembered only because of pictures and stories.

He wonders if the years in the group will be like that, after.

That thought is enough to make him hope that they never break up.

After the guys, how can anything else seem real?
